"Sparks", the first single of the eponymous 4th Lilabungalow album, was written on a Mexican beach known as a death zone for swimmers. The white sand ribbon stretches out endlessly like in a picture book along picturesque waves, small deserted bars and the dangerous water undertow out onto the Pacific Ocean. "Sparks" is a mirror on the opposites of life, which lie close together in fine layers. The song is reminiscent of the elemental particle of love that can unite all these opposites.
